These terms are the licence for Content Factory and the guide. You accept them when you buy, or when you clone, install or run Content Factory. If you buy for a company, you confirm you can bind it to them.
If you’re a consumer (you buy for yourself, not for a business), the law where you live gives you rights that no contract can take away. Nothing in these terms limits them, and where a term here says something that law doesn’t allow, the law wins.
1. Who sells to you
- Coslynx makes Content Factory and the guide and grants you the licence below.
- Dodo Payments is our merchant of record and authorised reseller. It sells you the product, takes your payment, charges and pays the tax, issues your receipt and processes refunds. Your purchase is also governed by the Dodo Payments Buyer Terms. Where those terms speak of the supplier’s end user licence agreement, they mean these terms.
- If Dodo’s terms and these terms disagree, Dodo’s terms win on the payment, tax, the refund process and chargebacks, and these terms win on the licence and what you may do with the product. Neither takes away your rights as a consumer.
2. What you buy
- Content Factory ($270, one payment, tax included; the guide is included): software that researches a topic, writes the script, makes a narrated short reel and, if you switch posting on, posts it to Instagram from your own logged-in browser through Claude in Chrome (section 7).
- Its research reads public web pages. It can bring captures of pages and posts, images, and short excerpts of online videos into a reel, each with its source named in the credits. Video excerpts are fetched with yt-dlp, a free tool you install yourself.
- You get its code and docs in a private GitHub repository, an invite to that repository for the GitHub account you name, a licence key by email, and the library the software downloads from our store with that key: fonts, music, sound effects, models, code and reference notes, made by us or licensed to us (section 5).
- The guide ($27, one payment, tax included): a PDF, sent with your receipt.
- Nothing renews. There is no subscription to cancel.
- Content Factory runs on your own computer. We host nothing for you and do not run it for you. It works through accounts you hold yourself (section 7).
3. Your licence
- We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Content Factory and the guide under these terms. The licence has no end date; it ends only as section 12 says.
- Who it covers. If you are a person, the licence is yours alone. If you are a company, it covers the people who work for it, employees and contractors, while they work on the company’s behalf.
- Clients. Freelancers and agencies may make reels for their clients and hand over the finished reels. The licence doesn’t cover the client: a client who wants to run Content Factory itself needs its own licence.
- Machines. You may install it on as many computers as you or your company own or control.
- Repository access. One licence opens the repository for one GitHub account. A company may copy the code from that account to the computers of the people its licence covers. Each further GitHub account needs its own licence.
- Changes. You may change the code and settings for your own use.
- Commercial use. You may use what it makes in any lawful way, including for a business, for ads and for clients.
4. What you may not do
- Sell, resell, rent, sublicense, share, publish or give away Content Factory, its code, the repository, the library or the guide, in whole or in part, free or paid. That includes putting any of it inside another product, template, course or code pack.
- Run it as a service for other people, hosted or not, or let people outside your licence use your copy.
- Share your licence key or repository access with anyone outside your licence, or add people to the repository.
- Get around the licence key check or the store’s access control, or share files you downloaded from the store.
- Remove or change licence, copyright or third-party notices.
5. Third-party components
Content Factory includes and downloads software, models, fonts, music and sound made by others. Each comes under its own licence, listed with its author and source in THIRD_PARTY.md in the repository, and the licence texts are kept beside the files. You must follow those licences too. Where a component’s licence is narrower than these terms, the component’s licence wins for that component. We give you no rights in a component beyond what its licence gives.
6. Your content
- It’s yours. As between you and us, you own the reels, scripts and other content you make with Content Factory. We claim no rights in them, and you keep them even if your licence ends.
- You’re responsible for it. You alone decide what is made and posted, and you alone answer for it. That includes every picture, clip, page capture, quote, logo, voice and piece of music in it, whether you added it or the software found it on the web. Content Factory does not clear rights for you. You can turn its web research off, and you should review every reel before it goes out.
- Other people’s material. Use it only if you own it, have the owner’s permission or a licence, or the law where you publish allows that use. A credit is not permission. The exceptions that allow use without permission are narrow and differ by country: fair use in the US, fair dealing in India and the UK (only for set purposes such as criticism, review and news reporting), and quotation in the EU. Each use is judged case by case: why you use it, how much you take, and whether it replaces the original. Being short or credited doesn’t make a use fair on its own. When unsure, leave it out or ask the owner.
- Sites’ own rules. Some sites’ terms forbid downloading their videos except through their own download feature (YouTube’s, for example). Follow the terms of the sites you take material from.
- Your promise. When you post or publish a reel, you confirm that you have the rights it needs, or that the law allows each use in it.
- AI output can be wrong. Content Factory is driven by AI models. What they write and make can be inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, or similar to other people’s work, and in some countries it may not be protected by copyright. Content Factory checks claims against its sources, but those checks can miss. Review every reel before it goes out, and don’t present it as professional advice.
- No promised results. We don’t promise views, followers, engagement, sales or income.
7. Your accounts, platforms and costs
- You connect your own accounts: an AI provider (a Claude plan or an API key), and if you choose, OpenRouter, ElevenLabs, Claude in Chrome in your own browser, and the sites you post to, such as Instagram. Their terms apply to your use of them, and you must follow them.
- Their fees are yours. We don’t pay or refund any provider’s charges.
- Posting to Instagram. Posting is off by default. If you switch it on, Content Factory asks Claude in Chrome to post each finished reel from the Instagram account you are logged into, in your own browser, on your own computer. We never see your login and never post for you.
- Instagram’s terms don’t allow accessing it in an automated way without its permission. Instagram may treat posting through a tool as automated and limit or close your account. Read its terms and decide before you switch posting on; you can always post the finished reel yourself. Sites change their rules and their pages, and we can’t promise that any site allows, or keeps working with, posting through a tool.
- If a site or provider limits, suspends or closes your account, that is your risk, not ours.
- Content Factory is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta (Instagram), X, LinkedIn, Anthropic (Claude), OpenRouter, ElevenLabs, GitHub or any other site or provider it works with. Their names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say what the software works with.
8. Acceptable use
Don’t use Content Factory, or anything it makes, to:
- send spam or mass unsolicited messages, or fake engagement: bought or automated likes, follows, comments, views or reviews;
- get around a site’s rate limits, captchas, logins, paywalls or other technical limits, or run accounts that aren’t yours;
- collect personal data, or use other people’s photos, videos, music or writing in a way their owner hasn’t allowed and the law doesn’t permit;
- impersonate a real person or organisation, make deepfakes, or copy a real person’s voice or likeness without their consent;
- infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
- make content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that involves minors in any harmful way;
- mislead people: false claims presented as fact, or financial, medical or legal advice you aren’t qualified to give.
9. Copyright complaints
We don’t host or post anything buyers make: each buyer posts from their own accounts. If you think a post made with Content Factory infringes your rights, report it to the site it’s on, which can take it down. If you think something we distribute (this website, the repository or the library) infringes your rights, email support@coslynx.com with “Copyright notice” in the subject, and include: the work you own, where our copy is, your contact details, a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorised and that your notice is accurate, and your name as your signature. We’ll answer within 2 working days and remove material that infringes from future downloads.
10. Updates and support
- Updates arrive in the repository as tagged releases for as long as we offer them. We may change, add or remove features. We won’t take back a release you already have, unless your licence ends.
- Support is by email at support@coslynx.com, answered within 2 working days. It covers installing and running Content Factory as documented, not custom changes or your provider accounts.
11. Refunds
Refunds follow our refund policy and are paid by Dodo Payments. It also explains the 14-day right to cancel in the EU, the EEA and the UK, and how it ends once delivery starts. A refund or a chargeback ends your licence: your key stops working, your repository access is removed, and you must delete your copies of what was refunded: the software, the library and the guide. You keep the reels and other content you already made.
12. Suspension and ending
- If you break these terms in a serious way, or keep breaking them after we ask you to stop, we may disable your licence key and remove your repository access, and your licence ends. We’ll tell you why by email, unless the law or a fraud investigation stops us.
- Your licence also ends on a refund or a chargeback (section 11).
- When it ends, stop using Content Factory and the guide and delete your copies. You keep the reels and other content you already made.
- Sections 5, 6, 7, 9 and 13 to 19 stay in force after it ends.
13. Warranty
- If you’re a consumer, the law where you live says digital content must match its description, be of satisfactory quality and be fit for its purpose, and gives you remedies when it isn’t, such as a repair, a replacement, a price cut or a refund. In the UK that is the Consumer Rights Act 2015, in the EU the national laws based on the Digital Content Directive, and in India the Consumer Protection Act 2019. Nothing here takes those rights away.
- Beyond those rights, Content Factory and the guide are provided “as is” and “as available”. We give no other warranty, express or implied, including that they suit a particular purpose, are free of errors, work on every computer or with every provider or site, or bring any result.
14. Limits of liability
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for harm we cause on purpose or through gross negligence, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow to be limited. Nothing affects your rights as a consumer.
- Apart from that, we aren’t liable for loss we couldn’t reasonably foresee, or for lost profits, revenue or data, provider fees, or account limits, suspensions or penalties from any site or provider.
- Apart from that, our total liability for everything connected with these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the product the claim is about.
15. Your responsibility to us
- If someone else makes a claim against us because of your content, your posting, or your breach of these terms, you are responsible for the loss and reasonable costs this causes us.
- If you’re a business, that includes reasonable legal fees. If you’re a consumer, you answer only for loss your own actions caused, and only as far as the law where you live allows.
16. Events outside our control
We aren’t responsible for a delay or failure caused by events we can’t reasonably control, such as outages of GitHub, Dodo Payments, our host or your providers, network failures, natural disasters, war or a change in law.
17. Law and courts
- These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, India, can hear disputes about them.
- If you’re a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there. In India you may also complain to a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act 2019, including online through e-Daakhil.
- Please write to us first. Most problems are solved by email.
18. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The new version is posted here with a new date and applies to purchases made, and updates you install, after that date. A change never takes away a right you had for a release you already have.
19. General
- These terms, the refund policy, the privacy policy and Dodo’s Buyer Terms are the whole agreement between us about the product. Section 1 says which wins if they disagree.
- If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies.
- If we don’t enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- You can’t transfer your licence. We may transfer these terms to whoever takes over Content Factory, as long as that doesn’t reduce your rights.
